At Tuesday's monthly DBKA Meeting, Michael Young gave a talk on 'Products of the Hive', including, honey, wax, pollen, propolis, and bee venom, and their health and medicinal properties. We also provided raw honey as an alternative to sugar for the tea/coffee. This was honey from the DBKA taken off on Saturday past, and extracted on Monday

April Monthly Meeting
Dromore Beekeepers Association April meeting will be held on Tuesday 15th April at 7.30pm. As usual the venue is Dromore High School, Science Mobile at the rear of the main building.
The speaker for the evening will be James McCreight, long time beekeeper, and past chairman of Belfast and District Beekeepers Association.
The topic will be 'A Queen Rearing Year at Minnowburn' ( they have reared over 1000 queens in one season)
All are welcome, and as usual the evening will finish with tea/coffee and 'beechat'...
